I am Mrs. Esievo Funmilayo, the current Principal of the Senior Secondary High School, Ijegun, under the St. Saviour’s Group of Schools, Ikotun, Lagos. I assumed this position on December 4, 2023, bringing with me over three decades of educational experience and leadership.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics Education, graduating with Second Class Upper Honours (2:1) from Lagos State University (LASU) in 2010.

My journey with St. Saviour’s began on September 23, 1993, when I joined as a Class Teacher, handling Primary 3. During my time in the Nursery/Primary School, I served as Head of Department (HOD) and later as a Supervisor.

In 2006, I had the privilege of becoming the pioneering Head Teacher of the Egan branch of the school. Over the years, I have worked across various branches, holding key leadership roles including Head Teacher and Vice Principal, which have enriched my perspective and commitment to educational excellence.

Today, as Principal of the Senior Secondary High School, I continue to uphold the values of dedication, excellence, and holistic development that define St. Saviour’s Schools.
