Meet the Principal
I am Mrs. Onyesom Franca, fondly known as Aunty Franca. I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology, earned in 1992 from Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) obtained in 2004, also from LASU.
My journey with St. Saviour’s Schools began on September 22, 1995, when I joined as a dedicated educator. I started my teaching career at St. Saviour’s Nursery/Primary School, Ijegun, where I taught Primary 4, 5, and 6. In August 1996, during vacation coaching, I transitioned to the High School to teach Integrated Science in JSS 1 (now referred to as Basic Science).
By 1997, I was moved to the Senior School to teach Biology. In 2001, I was appointed Head of the Science Department (HOD), and in 2006, I was elevated to the position of Senior HOD.
On January 1, 2007, I was appointed Vice Principal, and in 2012, I became the Principal of the Senior School, a position I held with pride and dedication until 2023. I am currently serving in the Junior School following my redeployment.
St. Saviour’s School, as the name suggests, is truly blessed by God Almighty. Its greatness lies in being named after our Saviour, Jesus Christ. It is a place where every child thrives, as we offer qualitative and affordable teaching and learning experiences.
